✔️ Naturally Develops a Patina – Over time, the teapot forms a beautiful, rich patina, enhancing its vintage charm and authenticity.

🛠️ Care & Maintenance:

1. Removing Oxidation

To clean oxidation from the copper surface:
🔹 Mix white vinegar and fine salt, apply directly to the oxidized area (without adding water), and gently rub until clean.
🔹 Alternatively, wipe with lemon slices to restore shine.
🔹 Avoid water contact during deoxidation for best results.

2. Removing Copper Rust

If green copper rust appears due to exposure to acidic, alkaline, or salty substances:
🔹 Wipe with lemon juice and salt until the rust disappears.
🔹 For stubborn rust, use kerosene on a cloth, followed by toothpaste powder for polishing.
🔹 After cleaning, dry the teapot and store it in a cool, dry place.

⚡ Natural Usage Changes:

It is normal for a copper teapot to darken over time. When boiling water, a dark brown oxide film may form inside—this is a natural reaction and does not affect the boiling process or water quality. The patina will continue to develop, creating a rich, vintage aesthetic that enhances with use.

Indulge in the timeless art of tea with this handcrafted Red Copper Teapot—an exquisite blend of tradition, function, and beauty. 🍵✨

Precautions:

Removal of oxidation

Copper pot oxidation can take appropriate amount of white vinegar+fine salt to cover the oxidation site, and not adding water will affect the oxygen removal effect. You can also use lemon slices to wipe the oxidized part until it is clean. Be careful not to touch water when deoxidizing.

Remove copper rust

If the copper pot produces green copper rust, it means that it is exposed to corrosive substances such as acid, alkali and salt, and can be wiped repeatedly with some lemon juice and salt. You can also wipe the cloth with kerosene, and then wipe it with toothpaste powder. After use, it should be dried and stored in a dry place.

Usage change:

It is normal for the copper pot to turn black after use.

When boiling water in a copper pot, a dark brown oxide film will naturally form on the inner wall of the copper pot over time, which will not change the boiling effect or bring negative effects, so there is no need to wash and clean it. Only when the copper ware is combined with acidic substances will it produce copper rust. After normal use for a period of time, the surface of the copper pot will have a natural patina, which will be more moist and attractive with more use.
